version compare
To compare the original document with any versions, external compare program is required. SCV does not provide document comparing internally. There are some open source text file compared program like WinMerge or DiffMerge. To compare other documents like Words or Excel/spreadsheet, you may need to get the program manually. After that, goto setting and select the compare program location. SCV will call the program once the 'Compare' button is clicked.

To edit a document by double click it or pressed the "View" button, you need to set the program path like the above (compared program). If you are working with Words, then set the location of View program to Microsoft Words or Open Office Writer. SCV will invoke the document with the program that is set by user.
Note that SCV3.0 automatically invokes document with its default program. If you are using verson 3.0, you may ignore this step.
